rationale
La terza edizione delle “Giornate Siciliane di Nefrocardiologia” prosegue, nel solco delle edizioni precedenti che hanno incontrato il favore dei colleghi, la condivisione delle conoscenze multidisciplinari che devono guidare il trattamento del paziente cardiorenale e cardionefrometabolico.
L'ormai consolidata strategia olistica ha segnato, in questi anni, il ritorno, pur nella complessità delle singole discipline, alla classica e mai superata valutazione complessiva e multidimensionale del paziente, l'unica in grado di fornire, con atteggiamento “sartoriale”, la strategia diagnostica e terapeutica più adatta alle caratteristiche peculiari di questi pazienti altamente complessi e sicuramente fragili. Anche in questa terza edizione abbiamo cercato di portare all'attenzione dei partecipanti quanto di più recente la letteratura scientifica ha prodotto in ambito nefrocardiologico e cardionefrometabolico senza trascurare le sfide che il paziente nefropatico pone alle procedure interventistiche e alla chirurgia ad elevata specializzazione. Lo faremo grazie all'intervento di Relatori di livello internazionale e con l'aiuto di discussants di grande esperienza che ci aiuteranno ad approfondire i topics delle numerose sessioni.
